Know that I John Bakere otherwise called John Hoke of the parish of Schorh[a]m in the county of Kent have given to Roger Brovn' miller of Otteforde and Robert Kep's of Tonbregge in the aforesaid county all my lands and tenements in the parishes of Schorh[a]m and Otteford, to hold to Roger and Robert Kep's their heirs and assigns for ever of the chief lords of the fee. I and my heirs will warrant against all people for ever. In witness whereof I have put my seal. Witnesses: John Burkynghole, John Multous, William Aylnoth, Thomas Garden[er]e, Thomas Moth and others. Given at Schorh[a]m the day after the feast of the Translation of St Edward king and confessor, 12 Henry VI [14 October 1433].
