A new volume of the Victoria County History has recently appeared:
- Emmeline Garnett and Sarah Rose, A History of the County of Westmorland, volume 1 (2025)
This is the first volume to be published for Westmorland, and covers Lonsdale Ward (townships of
Kirkby Lonsdale,

Casterton,

New material
New indexes to eight 15th-century plea rolls have been added to the Plea Roll database:
- King's Bench: KB 27 (seven rolls from the periods 1450-1453 and 1467-1469), by Vance Mead
- Court of Common Pleas: CP 40/634 (Trinity Term, 1419), by Rosemary Simons
The King's Bench indexes have also been added to the AALT Lists and Indexes database.
