News

A new volume of the Victoria County History has just appeared:

• Stephanie Carter, editor, A History of Northamptonshire, volume 8 (2026)
  This covers Towcester Hundred (parishes of Towcester, Abthorpe, Cold Higham, Gayton, Pattishall, Tiffield). [For further information see the publisher's website.]

The List and Index Society has recently published several new volumes:

The following indexes have been added to the Plea Roll database:

• King's Bench: KB 9, indictment rolls and oyer and terminer commissions (27 rolls from the periods 1485-1493), by Vance Mead
• King's Bench: KB 27 (11 rolls from the periods 1518-1525 and 1565-1567), by Vance Mead
• Court of Common Pleas: CP 40/263, A-J and K-Z (Trinity Term, 1326), by Rosemary Simons
