The Countess
[Cecily, widow of Roger, Earl of Hereford (d. 1155)],
who had m. Roger, Earl of Hereford, in
or before 1138, was widow of Walter de Mayenne in 1190/1. It was overlooked sub
HEREFORD that according to Bracton (Note Book, no. 671) she was widow of William de
Poitou in 1192.
Bracton's Note Book makes it clear that Cecily was married to William of Poitou before Walter de Mayenne (to whom she was married by - or soon after - 1162) (see Hereford, vol. 6, pp. 455, 456).

She was bur. in the church of the Greyfriars in London. M.I.

Amice was the widow of Sir John de Hull, of Hill Croome, Worcestershire [Complete Peerage, vol. 12, part 2, p. 255].
