[Cecily, widow of Roger (of Gloucester), Earl of Hereford (d. 1155)]
m. Walter DE MAYENNE (Meduana),
who d. before 1190/1, when as the Countess of
Hereford who was wife of Walter de Mayenne she was assessed for
29 knights' fees. In 1192 she was widow of William of Poitou.

Bracton's Note Book makes it clear that Cecily was married to William of Poitou before Walter de Mayenne. Her marriage to Walter de Mayenne took place by - or soon after - 1162 [W. E. Wightman, The Lacy family in England and Normandy, 1066-1194, p. 175 (1966), citing Herefordshire Domesday, circa 1160-1170, p. 81 (1950)].
