Volume 6, page 136:
SIR JOHN GREY or GREY, yr. s. of Sir Thomas GRAY, of Heton and Wark-on-Tweed, Northumberland (who d. 26 Nov. or 3 Dec. 1400), by Joan, his wife (who was living 30 Nov. 1402).

Joan died shortly before 4 September 1410, when a writ to the escheator of Northumberland was issued [Calendar of Fine Rolls 1405-1413, p. 161].
