Hugh Burnell's wife in 1370 was named Elizabeth [Calendar of Inquisitions Miscellaneous, vol.3, p.285, which notes that the manor of Billingford, Norfolk, had been granted to Hugh and Elizabeth by diverse persons, who had been enfeoffed by [Hugh's father] Nicholas Burnell].
