This page contains abstracts of coroners' inquests relating to Northamptonshire from the JUST2/109 coroners' rolls held at the National Archives and viewable on the Anglo-American Legal Tradition (AALT) website. The roll is in very good condition and inquest reports are grouped by hundred, although not all hundreds are included. Most inquests were in 15 Edward II (1321/2). The roll contains two unusual cases of child murder and the killing of a man who had abjured the realm but then tried to escape.
Coroners were Henry de Tychemersh, Simon de Keylmersh and Richard Luvel. Values of the chattels of suspected felons are usually given.
