Date: The day after All Souls, 9 Edward II [3 November 1315].
Parties: Henry de Wetheryngsete, chaplain querent, and Thomas Verlay and Johanna his wife, deforciants
Property: thirty acres of land, 10 shillings and two pence rent with appurtenances in Sternefeld and Saxmundham
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Henry has recognised the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances is the right of Johanne. And by this agreement the same Thomas and Johanne grant the said Henry the tenements with appurtenances, for the life of Henry. The same Henry is to have and hold of Thomas Verlay and Johanne his wife and the heirs of Johanne for the life of Henry. And after the death of the same Henry the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances are to revert wholly to Thomas and Johanna and the heirs of Johanna, quit of the heirs of Henry, to be held of the chief lords in perpetuity.
For this: Paying one rose per annum at the feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist as a requirement for all services, custom and taxes to Thomas and Johanna and the heirs of Johanna. Thomas and Johanna and the heirs of the same Johanna providing to the chief lords of the fee all other services which pertain to them for the life of Henry.

Property: two messuages, 16 acres of land, two acres of wood, two acres of pasture with appurtenances in Freston
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Thomas and Joan have recognised the the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances are the right of Richard.
Warranty: The aforementioned Thomas and Johanna grant the said Richard and heirs a warranty concerning the said tenements with appurtenances against all men in perpetuity.
For this: Richard gives Thomas and Johanna twenty pounds sterling.

Parties: Henry le Warner of Saxmundham, querent and Thomas de Verlay and Johanna his wife, deforciants
Property: one messuage, twenty four acres of land, with appurtenances in Saxmundham and Releshale
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Thomas and Johanna have granted to Henry the tenements with appurtenances. The same Henry and heirs of his body are to have and hold of Thomas and Johanna and the heirs of Johanna in perpetuity. Paying two shillings of silver per annum at the feast of Saint Michaelmas for all services, customs and taxes to the aforesaid Thomas and Johanna and heirs of the same Johanna. Thomas and Johanna and the heirs of the same Johanna providing to the chief lords of the fee all other services which pertain to them for the life of Henry. And if said Henry dies without heirs of his body, then after the death of Henry the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances are to revert wholly to Thomas and Johanna and the heirs of Johanna, quit of all other heirs of Henry, to be held of the chief lords by service in perpetuity.
Warranty: The aforementioned Thomas and Johanna and heirs of Johanna grant the said Henry and heirs a warranty concerning the said tenements with appurtenances against all men in perpetuity.
For this: Henry gives Thomas and Johanna twenty marks of silver.

Agreement: Thomas and Johanna have recognised the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances are the right of Roger and Margaret, as that which the same Roger and Margaret have of the gift of the aforesaid Thomas and Johanna. The same Roger and Margaret and the heirs of Roger are to have and hold of the chief lords of the fee by service the aforesaid tenements in perpetuity.
For this: Roger and Margaret give Thomas and Johanna twenty marks silver.

Agreement: Nicholas and Elizabeth and Roger and Margaret have recognised the aforesaid tenements with appurtenances are the right of Thomas and Johanna, as that which Thomas and Joanna have of the gift of Nicholas and Elizabeth and Roger and Margaret. The same Thomas and Johanna are to have and hold of the chief lords of the fee by service the aforesaid tenements in perpetuity.
For this: Thomas and Johanna give Nicholas and Elizabeth and Roger and Margaret ten pounds sterling
