Property: The manors of Aspedene and Bradefeud and 60 acres of land in Aspedene.
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Ralph has acknowledged the tenements to be the right of William, and has granted that the manor of Aspedene - which manor Simon Trenchefoyl and Aubreye (Albreda), his wife, held in dower of Aubreye of the inheritance of Ralph on the day the agreement was made, and which manor after the decease of Aubreye ought to revert to Ralph and his heirs - after the decease of Aubreye shall remain to William and his heirs, to hold of the chief lords for ever. Ralph also granted that the manor of Bradefeud - which manor Master John de Wyngeh[a]m held for life of the inheritance of Ralph on the day the agreement was made, and which [manor] after the decease of John ought to revert to Ralph and his heirs - after the decease of John shall remain to William and his heirs, to hold of the chief lords for ever. Ralph also granted that the 60 acres of land - which Simon Trenchefoyl held for life on the day the agreement was made of the inheritance of Ralph, and which 60 acres of land after the decease of Simon ought to revert to Ralph and his heirs - after the decease of Ralph [sic] shall remain to William and his heirs, to hold of the chief lords for ever.
Warranty: Warranty by Ralph, for the life of Ralph.
For this: William has granted for himself and his heirs that they shall render each year to Ralph for the life of Ralph 7 pounds and 10 shillings at 2 terms, to wit, a moiety at Easter and the other moiety at Christmas. And after the decease of Ralph, William and his heirs shall be quit of the payment of the 7 pounds and 10 shillings for ever. And besides Ralph granted that [sic] the aforesaid 10 pounds of rent, which Ralph was accustomed to receive from Master John for the manor of Bradefeud, that Master John should render them to William and his heirs for the life of Master John.
Note: This agreement was made in the presence of Simon and Aubreye and Master John, and they did fealty to William in the court.
