And if it happens that the aforesaid John de Som[er]y dies without an heir of his body or if the heirs begotten by the same John de Som[er]y die without heirs of themselves, while Adam de Som[er]y, uncle of the same John de Som[er]y, and Joan, his wife, are living, then the tenement shall remain to the same Adam and Joan and the heirs begotten by Adam of Joan, to hold of Master John and his heirs by the aforesaid service for ever. And if it happens that Adam dies without an heir begotten on the body of Joan, then the tenement after the decease of Joan, Thomas, John de Som[er]y and the aforesaid heirs of the same John de Som[er]y shall revert to Master John and his heirs, quit of the other heirs of Adam and Joan, to hold of the chief lords for ever.
