Parties: Roger de Chaundos and Maud, his wife, querents, by William de Frome, put in the place of Maud, and Master Thomas de Chaundos, deforciant.
Property: The manor of Welynton'.
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Roger has acknowledged the manor to be the right of Master Thomas, as that which Master Thomas has of his gift.
For this: Master Thomas has granted to Roger and Maud the manor and has rendered it to them in the court, to hold to Roger and Maud and the male heirs begotten by Roger on the body of Maud, of the lord king and his heirs for ever. In default of such heirs, remainder to the right heirs of Roger.
Note: This agreement was made by the command of the lord king.
