And if William Peyto, his heirs or assigns, or any other in his name before the feast of Michael specified above that shall be in the year of the lord 1448 shall not discharge or save harmless from the acknowledgments and bonds of merchant statute William Mountford', John Cursson', John Gresley, William Lucy, Robert Fraunceys and John Pulteney, then it shall be permitted to William Mountford', John Cursson', John Gresley, William Lucy, Robert Fraunceys and John Pulteney to retain the aforesaid manors to them and their heirs, to hold of the lord king and his heirs for ever.
