Property: Concerning [a plea] that John should permit Hugh to take each year 30 cartloads of wood in John's wood of Berdon' and to draw them to Hugh's manor of Hokelescote, as Hugh ought to take them in the same place and draw them to the same manor, and as his antecessors were accustomed to take them in the aforesaid wood and draw them to the same manor, by the charter of Margaret de Quency, formerly countess of Winchester, then the lady of that wood, which Hugh has thereof.

Property: Concerning [a plea] that John should acquit the prior of the service which Eleanor, the queen of England, the mother of the lord king, is exacting of him in respect of his free tenement which he holds of John in Braunston', and whereof the prior complained that whereas he should hold of John 2 virgates of land in Braunston' in free, pure and perpetual alms, the queen is distraining him to do suit at the queen's court of Helewell' every 3 weeks, and whereof John, who is mesne between them, ought to acquit him.
