Eleanor, about 1397, became de jure, according to modern doctrine,
suo jure BARONESS MAUTRAVERS.
Eleanor was the daughter and coheir of John Mautravers (d. 1348/9), son and heir apparent of John, Lord Mautravers (d. 1363/4) [see Complete Peerage, vol.8, p.584-6].
