SIR RICHARD DE GREY, of Sandiacre, co. Derby, was s. and h. of Sir William DE GREY, of the same, and grandson of Sir Henry DE GREY, of Gray's Thurrock and Codnor, by Iseude, da. of Hugh DE BARDOLF, and one of the five sisters and coheirs of Robert BARDOLF, of Great Carlton, co. Lincoln, and Hoo, Kent.
