His 2nd wife survived him.
Douglas Richardson, in March 2002, posted evidence that Margaret was the widow of Sir Thomas de Graunson [Grandison], knight, [citing M.J. Holland, Year Books of Richard II, 1383-1384, pp. 77-79 (1989)]. According to Complete Peerage, vol. 6, p. 67, Sir Thomas de Grandison (d. 1375) left a widow Margaret, who died in October 1394, leaving as heir her brother William de Caru.
