Douglas Richardson, in January 2001, posted evidence that Joan was described as the kinswoman of William le Latimer, knight, "bailiff in the fee of the hundred of Corby" [citing D.W. Sutherland, ed., Eyre of Northamptonshire, A.D. 1329-1330 (Selden Society, vols 97, 98) 1: 259-261, 423, 450-451; 2: 502-504, 533, 615 (1983)].
