AUDLEY or ALDITHLEY (of Heleigh)

Volume 1, page 342 (as modified by volume 14):
He [James (Tuchet), Lord Audley (d. 1497)] m., 1stly, (cont. 25 Oct. 1480, to marry before Christmas), Margaret, da. and h. of Sir Richard DAYRELL, of Lillingstone Dayrell, Bucks, by Margaret, widow of Humphrey STAFFORD, styled EARL OF STAFFORD, da. and (in her issue) h. of Edmund (BEAUFORT), DUKE OF SOMERSET.

Douglas Richardson, in June 2002, pointed out evidence that Sir Richard Dayrell was of Littlecote (in the parish of Ramsbury), Wiltshire, not of Lillingstone Dayrell [citing C.G.O. Bridgeman, Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 4th series, vol. 3, p. 80 (1913)].
