Volume 8, page 568, note h:
Her daughter
[i.e. the daughter of Constance, daughter and coheir of Sir Thomas de Sutton,
2nd wife of Piers de Mauley (d. 1382/3)]
Constance de Mauley is said to have
m. Robert de Hilton, of Swine (Poulson, Holderness, vol. ii, p. 326).
It was Constance herself, not a daughter of hers, who later married Robert de Hilton (see Hylton, vol. 7, p. 26).
