m., 31 Mar. 1772, Mary, sister of Sir Horace MANN, 2nd Bart., and da. of Geoffrey [Galfridus] MANN, of Boughton Malherbe, Kent, by Sarah, da. of John GREGORY, of London.
Thomas's wife was named Eleanor, not Mary, as shown by the entry in the marriage register of Cottesmore, Rutland. (A licence for the marriage of her parents was issued on 11 January 1734/5 [FindMyPast database of Faculty Office Marriage Licences], and the baptism register of St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex, shows that she was born on 29 August 1747.)
