Some corrections and additions to the Complete Peerage: Volume 1: Badlesmere

Volume 1, page 372 (as corrected in volume 14):
He [Bartholomew of Badlesmere, later Lord Badlesmere (d.1322)] m., before 30 June 1308, Margaret, widow of Gilbert DE UMFREVILLE ... aunt and coh. of Thomas DE CLARE, Steward of the Forest of Essex, da. of Thomas DE C., by Julian, (not Amy), da. of Sir Maurice FITZ MAURICE, Lord Justice of Ireland.

The identification of Margaret's father, Thomas de Clare, as a younger son of Richard de Clare, Earl of Gloucester and Hertford [d. 1262], was removed in volume 14. But this identification does appear to be correct (see Gloucester).

Julian is described also as Sir Maurice's eventual heir on volume 1, p.149, and as his heir in the volume 14 corrections to volume 3, pp.247, 291.
