Volume 1, page 308, note e (continuation on page 309):
She
[Elizabeth, daughter and coheir of David (of Strathbogie), Earl of Atholl (d. 1369)]
m., 2ndly, before Mich. 1391, Sir John le Scrope
(5th s. of Henry, 1st Lord Scrope of Masham), whose will, dat. 18 Dec. 1405, was pr. 23 Dec.
following.
The marriage took place before 16 September 1388 [Calendar of inquisitions post mortem, vol. 16, no 721].
[Leo van de Pas, in June 2002, pointed out the difference between the dates given for this marriage in the Atholl and Scrope accounts, and in July 2002 Brad Verity supplied the date September 1388, given by Roskell et al. in History of Parliament without citing a source.]
